Turn your passion into action

Local Leadership matters. The Orange County Democrats want to help everyday members of our party run for office and win.

And we’re planning for the future.

2025 can be the year you make a difference

Elections for Congress, Senate, and state offices may grab big headlines, but the biggest impact can be made right at home in our local governments.

Single party Republican control of county government has negatively impacted our quality of life, and we’re gearing up to flip our county legislature in 2025.

We’re recruiting candidates for local offices across the county and planning in advance so we can run strong campaigns. If you’ve ever been interested in any of the following positions, don’t wait!

  • County Legislator

  • Town Supervisor

  • Town Councilmember

  • Town Clerk

  • Tax Collector

  • Highway Superintendent

  • Village/ City Mayor

  • Village Trustee

  • City Councilmember

  • Town/ City Judge

  • School Board
